Distribution Manager - Content
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare proposals and perform industry research to evaluate various negotiating positions and strategies for Content Licensing deals with new and existing clients
  • Analyze and assess results from clients and compare with market and industry data to formulate new business initiatives and business models
  • Participate in deal negotiations with clients
  • Understand the trends in technology, digital media, content protection and consumer viewing habits
  • Manage and monitor the deal approval process
  • Perform leadership and strategic planning on complicated deal structures, new windowing initiatives impacting Content Distribution
  • Be a key and initial point of contact for members of the sales team, directing deal proposals from initiation to finalization
  • Responsible for regional distribution on Animation, Drama series and Live movies
  • Handle ad-hoc projects involving budget, forecast and deal track
Requirement:
  • Minimum 3 years solid experience in media / content distribution
  • Exposure in content production is a plus
  • Familiar with international and Asian content markets, major and independent program producers / distributors and Asian broadcasters
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
  • Enthusiasm in Japanese Animation and Drama Series is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, sales-oriented, attention to details with strong work ethics
  • Proactive, independent, good team player with good working attitude

Licensing Manager
Job Introduction:

As a Licensing Manager, you will be responsible for identifying product opportunities, selling licenses to suitable partners and maintaining commercial relationships within allocated categories.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Licensing for Anime in Hong Kong and SEA
  • Selling licenses to suitable partners
  • Formulate strategic licensing strategies to maximize business opportunities
  • Manage existing key licensees & develop new licensees to achieve sales targets
  • Support team to achieve sales targets e.g. Brand presentation, Creative, Deal Memo, Sales Plan, Contract Review, AR, Launch & Marketing plan, Royalty report, Approval
  • Coordination among oversea offices to support development business in oversea territories
  • Identify, pitch and secure new licensees that enhance the category growth in a substantial manner
  • Handle ad-hoc projects
Requirement:
  • Enthusiasm and knowledge in Japanese Anime is an advantage
  • Bachelor degree, relevant business administration, commercial marketing, or similar consumer targeting experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales and marketing or related field
  • Substantial experience within Anime industry management
  • Proactive, well-organized, and attentive to details
  • Strong negotiation, communications and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command in English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
  • Good command in Japanese is preferred
  • Less experience will be considered as an Executive

Executive – Contract Administration
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate database and filing of license agreements and relevant documents
  • Review and vet contract deal terms in business agreements
  • Prepare and draft business agreements
  • Co-ordinate with external parties and different business teams in regional offices for contract administration tasks
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks/ projects as required
Requirement:
  • • Non-Degree Tertiary graduate in any disciplines
  • • At least 2 years solid administrative experience in Content distribution and Licensing industry preferable
  • • Knowledge in Rights Management System would definitely be an advantage
  • • Attention to details with strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • • Good command of written and spoken of English and Chinese is required
  • • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Executive
  • • Immediately available is highly preferred
